srobrien
The new HU's need to be grounded seperatly as the standard 350z HU is earthed through the loom. Check all your grounding points first R
MrMartinGrant
yep as above. when i swaped my HU, i had to run a new earth wire from the HU to the metal surrond in behind where the HU goes.

MrMartinGrant
cheers guys, just been out and did a quick test, yep wasnt grounded.dont get how the clarion was working though?? oh well cheers the clarion is grounded through its case, which makes contact with the metal suround, when it's inserted, took me a while to work that one out when i was replacing mine lol
