alessandro
Hello I'm thinking to remap my Z, does anyone know a good place in the Bucks area, also, how big is the difference in performance and petrol consuption? I found a place on the net where they come to you FROM £ 300 + is it a good price
Ian
I would stick to Abbey or RStuning - both are using recognized systems. Abbey would be the closest to you

Chris`I
I would stick to Abbey or RStuning - both are using recognized systems. Abbey would be the closest to you +1 We had a spate of companies claiming to be able to "chip" the Zed, but all were generic and when questioned fell apart. I wouldnt want to bad mouth the company you've found, but history has proved its likely they cant do the Zed. Stick to Abbey, they know their way around the Zed and will be doing mine when I get the cash together
Daverich2007
So does this Abbey company have a website so I can check them out as I need mine remapped too?

jpo
As the standard Z ECU is flashable (from what I read anyway) what equipment is needed to do that? Also to answer the original poster's question: increases in power will depend on what fuel & modifications you're running (I can't even guess there). One the the fuel-consumption, you can remap them to give you slightly better motorway mileage but obviously you'll get less mpg than usual when your foot is on the floor if there's any major increase in power due to more fuel being used to make the power.
