Gusford
Hi, I have been seriously considering buying a supercharger or turbocharger. I have seen this turbo on ebay and would love to get peoples thoughts if it is worth the money. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 3FIDDYZ
hks, good stuff. Not as easy as just doing the TT, but looks like you may have done a few bits to your car already... Just dont go over 400bhp...

Just dont go over 400bhp... BHP isn't the issue. Its torque that destroys the rods

ZMANALEX
400 bhp is the number that gets bounced around, but guys, as you all know tuning and mapping is key.
jpo
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=260456109033&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT It looks like a pretty comprehensive kit & it's HKS so you won't go too far wrong either-way but personally I never saw the point in going single turbo on a V engine. Just make sure you read the small print at the bottom regarding injectors, fuel pump & ECU which obviously can cost a whack-load more. Torque isnt cheap either!! I found cheap torque in the form of a higher octane fuel: It's E85 (Bioethanol - 104RON) & is cheaper than petrol locally (I live in Ireland). I ran my daily-driver highly modified 200SX on this for the last 2 years. There's very few outlets in the UK at the moment unfortunately as I found when making a trip across from Dublin to Holyhead & down to Cheltenham: we had to detour via Speke in Liverpool just to fill up! If you have local access to it though it's the business!
Darren-B
You wont get far without the ecu, you cant just bolt it on and expect it to go anywhere, then once you get the ecu you wont see those sort of gains without the fuel pump/regulator and injectors so add £2000- £3000 on that price plus mapping time and then you might be boosted, but for how long nobody knows
cougar motorsport
I have to aggree with Alex and Darren here. You cannot use this kit without an ECU . Or even you should upgrade injectors and fuel line. It's not too much to blow an engine , trust me ive seen this. Better save money to do the whole job and do it safe.
