stanski
On a serious note martin, is it possible to get bespoke luggage made up to fit the Zed?Like Rimowa do for Porsche or Louis Vuitton for Infiniti http://www.bornrich.org/entry/louis-vui ... ncept-car/ I could wrap 2 sandwich boxes up for you in Alcantara or real leather - that would be about the size would'nt it! Jay
Louis Vuitton bags fit in the zed no probs at all
Chris`I
i agree lucy, i would like a fitted fleece. Not pink though, too girly for me! Speak to Amanda on the Hoon. She might be taking over the female side of merchandise, or at least getting Martin onto it

BulletMagnet
I love my Rimowa suitcase, but it's too big for the Zed, may have to purchase a smaller one....

BulletMagnet
Rimowas are sexy imo, simple but striking design. I got a polycarbonate one, and the wheels on that are sooooo smooth, I just glide through airport lounges... It's like the Zed of suitcases, people always give it a look and sometimes a nod of approval. http://www.rimowa.com/main.php?country= ... Chris`I
I got a polycarbonate one, and the wheels on that are sooooo smooth, I just glide through airport lounges... I'm going to mod my Debenhams special with some Abec 7 bearings and supersoft inline skate wheels, bet it will be quieter than yours

Stew
Suitcases.... that's a new one! I have a samsonite polycarbonate that has so many stickers on it, I have travelled a fair bit with it, it's been to some very interesting places and been abused by many airport staff! I also have a smaller Delsey ultra lightweight one which by luck fits so snuggly in the zed it's like it was made for it. Jayne has one too and they sit side by side brilliantly! And it has cool wheels! I doubt if a custom pair could fit better.
martinmac
Its pointless having nice luggage if you have to put it in binbags
Tarmac@TarmacSportz
I know I said I wasn't gonna post on this thread again but the thread has changed dramatically and probably for the better really. To be honest after even more reflection and having been out for several Stella's today I am completey chilled out. It did get my back up people saying the car is turning chavvy but I felt the baby kick in my missus tummy for the first time today, that's amazing and i'm getting upset because of a few guys opinions... Reality check - it's just a car.... Anyway I didn't want to get into an arguement or be confrontational with anyone so if I offended anyone I just want to say sorry and no hard feelings.... Lots of love Chris Geraghty I hope I feel the same in the morning with a hangover LOL.

dcash5
Just to bring this back to original topic and not suitcases.... you find this with all cars unfortunately, when they become affordable the masses (non enthusiasts move in) give it 5 years when all the masses have gone to the 370z and the forums will change for the better If you have a look at the older forums your'll be surprised how technical some of them have become and not 'chav'. A good point in question is the Vauxhall Nova. 5/7 years ago you would laugh at people in these. Now if you go on the forums all the guys that are left are through and through enthusiasts who love playing with the old 8v engines and are doing some crazy things with them. Similarly you can see this same trend with the mk1 and mk2 MR2's. Peugeot 205s and even the 300zx. Citreon AX are very sort after now and look at the escort's. Its just part of the circles. Unfortunately we're in for alot of crap and spam on the forums for the next 3/4 years.

N1SM0350z
i've gone too for me it was purely the reason that i found the Zed just too impractical and tiring for my every day work car and with the constant fuel increases and talk about road tax increase it just tipped me over the edge to go a little more sensible. Marzman...you still after a range rover? For any Abarth fans, heres a few pics of my new practical toy Got to be one of the coolest cars about at the moment IMO
