Newbie looking advice

Recommended Posts

Hello to everyone im new to here so looking a bit of advise

Looking to buy a 350z GT and have two cars in mind both private sales and both standard cars

First a Silver Feb 2007 car 15,000 miles Fsh two owners car is mint no mark or scrapes

Taxed for another 2 months and was serviced a few months back by the main dealer

Will have two new back tyres fitted before i buy £14,500

or a Black 2005 car 25,000 miles Fsh two owners again in excellent condition Mot'd to May and

taxed to the end of the year and serviced 3 months ago Rays alloys £13,000

Ignoring the dearer road tax which would be the best deal and best for

future resale considering i will keep the car only a year

Thanks in advance Sean.............

Welcome to the forum mate :)

I'd be going over the 2007 with a fine tooth comb that is an extremely good price considering age & mileage - take it that is standard non GT spec - or even JDM? Then again if its been serviced by nissan it won't be JDM..........

Happy hunting ;)

Both are UK cars and GT Spec

Colour is not really an issue my choice of colours would probably

have been blue gunmetal black and silver in that order

But im buying on condition and price more so than colour

Basically the 2007 car belongs to a friend of a friend and im getting it at this price as

he got it about four months ago for a very good price-his friend is the manger in a Nissan Dealers

He was honest and showed me what he paid for the car £14,900 and the dealer will give him

£14500 back for the car and retail it at £16750 so the car is £14500 to me no less

I only do about 70 to 100 miles a week and we also have a 170 Leon FR TDI which we will keep

and sell of the other car we have now privately

Also i have a concours Escort Cosworth but thats only used for shows

Cheers Sean..........

always remember that balck is nver as good looking as any other colout due to it showing dirt so much more, I had to drag myself away from a shiny black Z in my search as I know how hard they are to keep looking nice (even though they are the best colour when in showroom condition). Personally I would go for the silver, although it does seem a little too good to be true if it is UK spec GT.
