Lyger
Can anyone tell me where I can get a Battery for my 2002/3 Jap Import? Thanks.
jim
I think you can use any battery that will fit the tray. I seem to remember a thread years ago from Tim (Lomoto) saying that he got one at Halfrauds that fitted fine and it caused no problems thereafter. waylander
If you are looking for a one to one swap then this one at halfords will fit (replaced my old battery on my 2005 JDM) http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stor ... yId_165762 or like jim mentioned you can find one which will fit the battery tray, not sure if you need to adjust anything to make it fit though ! Lyger
Thanks But looking at the battery it has plugs in the top so if it ever stops raining ill check the water level in the battery. If no joy ill source a new one and let you know how i did.
Lyger
Battery Failed totally this morning so i called my local Car shop A S K Auto Spares Kippax and asked if they had a 350z battery with the negative terminal on the left they did £50 so i went to collect it. Got it home and the terminals were too fat on the new battery so shaved them down and prised open the connectors they fit ok after an hour of faffing about. When i tried to fit the securing clamp on top of the battery the new battery was too wide so i had to cut off the metal saddles from the clamp. After this was done i put a thin strip of rubber on the battery under the clamp and tightened it up so the battery wouldnt move about. Finally put all the trim back on the car from around the battery compartment and started the car. Starts a lot quicker and more positive. Just something i noticed the Halfrauds battery has an AH value of 45 the one i fit had an AH value of 60?
