Chris`I
The engine block, but I guess even that isnt much like ours You mean my block cant withstand the stress of 1900bhp pffff......... Yes actually ... Project Zed is a gorgeously shark-tastic Pro Class drag car packing a 3.5 litre Nissan V6 engine from the regular 350Z model with a few 'light modifications' taking the power to a knee-trembling 1900bhp. The result is an estimated 0-60mph time of 1.2secs, 0-168mph in 4.1secs, and 0-215mph in 6.6secs. We're guessing that requires more than a flash re-map and a sports exhaust... Dene8
Yes actually ... regular 350Z model with a few 'light modifications' I'd like them to define light...........

Pretty sure the rules in these things means you cant do a massive amount to the block. Maybe bore it out, but thats about it. Obviously all the internals will be uprated though. Obviously all the internals will be uprated though. It's heartening to know that with some slight mods and an infinite supply of monies, we could all be driving around in 1900bhp zeds...... The rules about non-modification of the block are common place in most racing disciplines, so its amazing that he's running sooooo much power!! bronzee
"0-168mph in 4.1secs, and 0-215mph in 6.6secs" What a weapon. Imagine the G forces pushing you back into the seat.

Martin W
What part(s) of the 350z actually remain in the cars current guise....? Well having dropped into Abbey this morning, Mark showed me.... As the engine wasn't even there there was this ! and this it is a thing of beauty though The engineering build quality is superb. It exudes "excellence", and no pictures I've seen have done justice to the 2 tone blue green metallic paint
