rtbiscuit
more of a mechanics of the site thing, especially when you get used to using it alot; you know the 3 buttons at the toppish left hand side that say "view new posts" "view unread posts""View your posts" is there any chance these buttons could also be placed at the bottom of the page. i find (especially with long threads and loads of pics) that you read as you go down etc, and then have to scoll all the way back to the top of the page to press the "view unread posts" button (its the one i use most of the time. thought it might be eaiser that when you reach the end of the posts in a thread the buttons would be there waiting. if that makes sense. tell me to take a running jump if you think i'm taking the jimmy riddle and that i'm a lazy git for not wanting to scroll back up the page. I just have a bookmark in my toolbar (FF not IE) which takes me back to the unread posts page.
Stew
Me too Digsy! Also if using IE it seems to refresh the unread posts if using the back button.
rtbiscuit
i use firefox on the work laptop, and safari on the home pc. neithe rof which do the what you said, i suppose i could save it as a favourite, but i'd still need to go to the top of the tool bar to get at it
Stew
You can't highlight the address and drag it into the bar below on FF?
Digsy
Do you have the bookmarks toolbar enabled?

M13KYF
just click on the little arrow in the right hand corner of each post and it will take you back to the top immediately
Chesterfield
Not a bad idea, ive often been annoyed at having to scroll back to the top to click the unread posts button. Just need to make sure it is not too cluttered at the bottom...
rtbiscuit
if it were on the other side of "post reply" and "fast reply" and maybe layed out one on top of the other then i don't think it would clutter it
Chesterfield
You would be amazed at just how dificult it is to add a simple button like that next to those two. Ill have a look into this when I have a spare moment, as it could be quite useful.
