Zedrush
Got this email this morning not sure how true it is, but either way amazing Im sure youll agree A recently retired New York man wanted to use his retirement funds wisely, So Decided to buy a home and a few acres in Portugal. The modest farmhouse with barn had been vacant for 15 years; the owner and wife both had died, and there were no heirs. The estate was being sold to pay back taxes. There had been several lookers, but no real takers. The large barn had steel doors, and they had been welded shut to prevent intruders. Each viewer of the estate only ever looked at the barn as a barn. No one wanted to go to the extra expense in having the welds removed to see what was in the barn and then consequently pay to have the doors re-welded if they decided not to go ahead with the purchase. The barn was always looked upon as not being complimentary to the property anyway... So, no one made an offer on the estate. The New York gentleman eventually bought it as is, paying just over half of the property's Worth; moved in, and set about to access the barn... Curiosity was killing him. So, he and his wife bought a generator and a couple of grinders... And cut through the welds. What was in the barn...? The doors were welded shut, but a grinder took care of that…… The couple could not believe their eyes….. warehouse full of vintage high performance cars!!! aston martin Opal GT, Lotus Elan FHC, Lotus Super 7 – Series 4, Lotus Elan DHC Porsche 356, Austin Healey Sprite Mk II, Volvo PV544, Ford Model ‘Y’ Giulietta Sprint, Giulia Sprint Speciale (SS), Nash Metropolitan. 3FIDDYZ
Funny enough when I moved into the place I live now there are 3 garages which were locked to start with, the house has a motorracing themed name so my brain was ticking over!...... Finally got the keys to the garages and was really happy to find a couple of lovely spiders, some old beetles.....
