gunmetalzgt
when i went to test drive the z that i bought i heard a slight noise as the wheels go round. i presumed that the driver wheel was slightly buckled and that was the sound. (curbed alot) i have changed the wheel now and the noise is still there! it sounds like it happens with each revolution of the wheels. i think its coming from the front drivers wheel. (not very sure though, its hard to tell) there is a very slight vibration at high speeds. im thinking poss warped disc, however the sound is still there when i brake. also a possibility is just the balancing? getting done in the morning. could it be the wheel bearing considering the sound inst a constant whining but can be heard as the wheel goes round. lamby
wheel bearings generally give a constant whine which gets louder as you go round a corner. see what it is like after the balancing hopefully thats all it will be
gunmetalzgt
going to get the balancing done now. i think ill have the back ones done as well. also while the cars up ill ask to rotate the wheels round one by one to see if it's a warped disc. will let you know how i get on........... gunmetalzgt
it wasnt the balancing i've ordered 4 new tyres as the old ones are knackered. couldnt it be badly worn tires making the noise?

3FIDDYZ
Have you checked the back of the discs where the protector covers are? Mine needed a little bit of TLC, pulled off a few bits of the coating that had frayed and all sorted...

rtbiscuit
most people get rid of the bridgestones, they just don't have the wet grip that other tyres do. have a search there are cheaper and better options out there. loads of info. main ones mentioned on here: toyo proxies falken 452's vredestein ssantas bridgestone reo50's possibly more but its a mixed bag, go for what you like, thats what everyone else does.
