Lincolnbaggie
Had a search and couldn't find anything, so can someone tell me how easy it is to remove the timing cover? Are there any special precautions to take, or is it simply a case of unbolting the bolts and removing and reverse to fit again? Are there gaskets that will need replacing or risk of losing any fluids etc. I've had a look at the CD workshop manual and it seems to be a nighmare job but don't know anything about it. Cheers for any advice.
3FIDDYZ
you go first and then let us know what it was like!! You do need some type of sikoflex type of stuff when you reseal I think and there is the posibility of oil loss! You polishing the timing cover? Easier to do with a dremel, sand paper etc with the rad off perhaps? PM one of the guys on my350z as they have experience over there. And I know Alex has some spares, so he probably knows what the removal etc is all about!
