Adriank
Has anyone localish to crowthorne got a set of wheels with road legal tyres i could use for an MOT? One of my front tyres is right on the wear lines, and my MOT is next week... I have sorted new tyres, but im doing a track day the sat after! So dont want to put my brand new vreidesteins on for the MOT then destroy them on the track. If anyone can help, that would be brilliant, as i plan to change to the new tyres straight after being on track. cheers Adrian
marzman
Dont you get 14 days to fix an MOT failure? Just take it, let them fail it, do your track day, and then replace and retest
Adriank
I'm not sure how that works if you go past your MOT expiry date. I left it till the last minute on purpose, but the track day is after the current one expires, so im not sure you can. The wheels would get about 2 miles use on my car! rtbiscuit
i put my car in late for MOT's before, i think one of them was 3 weeks late for it. i think there is a 2 week period of grace for being late on an MOT. not sure if thats true or a myth though.
