dode1
Hi, We have an import 2002 350Z. Has been in the main dealers for a month, 14 hrs working on it they fitted a new (i think its new) BCM checked all fuses etc Car starts when the nats code is put in manually by the dealer, but when the engine is switched off it wont start again till the nats code is re-applied manually again. The fuel pump can be heard ok when switching on the ignition. Battery is good engine will turn over no problem. Would it be possible to take the alarm/imobiliser out and still be able to start the engine if this is possible where is it and how do we do it. HELP PLEASE. regards George

MrLizard
im not trying to be funny as its your first post, but if your at a dealer and they dont know how to disable the imobiliser asking on a forum full of people who have no idea who you are may not reap the best reward. i suggest take it to another dealer who know what their doing. stanski
In the interest of security I would not recommend anyone posts up the answer here in the public domain! I would suggest you forget the Nissan dealers and get hold of a mobile alarm fitting person - they will be able to diagnose and resolve your issue - the 350Z is just a normal car like any other protected by the same Nissan gear that anything else is - import or otherwise. Hope this helps and you get it sorted soon? BTW to the forum

Maccaman
Hi George Sorry if you feel you have been unfairly treated. As I hope you can appreciate security is something which is taken seriously and obviously a Nissan garage should be able to carry out your required request. Everybody on this forum tries to offer help & advice where ever possible, but such a request as yours could be construed as questionable, especially as its your first post. I hope this is not your last involvement with the forum & you can understand what has been posted.

ZMANALEX
George, I think that I know this car and if I am correct then I suggested to the owner to remove the Toad alarm system as a process of elimination and the Nissan garage was about to do this when the owner changed his mind and removed the car from the Nissan garage and returned it to yourselves, the supplying dealer. I know how to remove the Toad alarm system and also how to install the NATS code permanently but in case this is not the same car then I suggest that in the first instance you contact Toad @ http://www.toadalarm.com/?kw=toad%20sec ... 4wodfQvpjw If I can be of any further assistance to you then you know where to find me. We really are a friendly and obliging bunch on this forum and I hope that you hang around long enough to find out.
