Ekona
There's a similar kind of layout in Colchester which is great fun, especially when you go one way and the guy sitting on your ass goes the other, and you still manage to beat him to the exit the other side! Ebized
Went to Uni in Swindon. Got a bollocking off the local traffic Police one night for literally going in a straight line over the magic roundabout from one side to the other at about 40mph....oops I can never understand those that attempt to go the full way round a 6 foot diameter blob of white paint (a mIni-roundabout) without crossing over it - watching their arm thrailing antics can be hilarious - and how do they think lorries get round They are the same idiots who glare at you because you don't try to do the same as them, as though you are cheating or something, fogetting that as long as the principle of treating it as a normal roundabout in terms of when to enter is followed, that is what matters. Looking at those pics of the magic roundabout there is a similar arrangement at Hatton Cross on the south side of London Airport where you go the 'wrong' way round one of the roundabouts - creates some confusion for those coming upon it for the first time
tmJak
That's a crazy roundabout! According to wikipedia, they are also called 'gyratories' - just some useless trivia to make you look sad when you tell your mrs/fella next time you go there
