rawbhp
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... K:MEWAX:IT Not sure what the quality will be like. Has anyone tried them?
Toon Chris
I had some stick-on ones like this. Mine were quite flimsy plastic film but once on they were fine. After a year I damaged one and had to remove them and now the cabin looks too stark again. I will put them on again but only the genuine Nissan ones for the better quality. Mine were half this price too...
rawbhp
I didn't realise Nissan actually made them? These are supposed to be ali so should be better quality.
sunset350z
I bought a set of these and the quality is perfect The guy selling them is a member on here named "asad" . I'll be buying another set of these of him shortly for my new Z.

sunset350z
You just peel the backing tape off. Before that you have to slightly bend the trim to the exact contour of the vent, so trial fit it before you peel the backing off!! I had discount off him only because i went to his house in Worcester, and bought the Z badges as well. Email him first and see if he'll knock the postage off, or get the badges as well
IanS16
I took mine off a month ago and gave them away. I think they are okay but I really dont see why nissan can't sell them bent into shape already as almost every set I have seen is a poor 'bent' fit
sunset350z
I was very meticulous with mine and shaped it perfectly before fitting. It looked great and never came unstuck. Infact i couldn't get the buggers off when the car was written off.

The ad says brushed alu finish, which is not the same as saying they are alu, just like they look like it (you know, like the difference between chocolate flavour and chocolate flavoured). With a good recommendation like that I'll buy some myself Thanks sunset

maz77
I remember buying mine for under £
loafer77
They do look good but unfortunately mine started to peel off on the passenger side after a few months. That was after careful shaping and cleaning the surfaces as well Mine are currently sitting in my kitchen waiting for my lazy ass to sort out some new backing for them. (they peeled off alarmingly easy as well ) Does look a lot better with them than without though.

edgeydt50
are these not standard on the car then?
R800NER
Nope, I have some on my zed and they look good. Although the left side is slightly (few mm) detatched..... a few people have noticed it and it's impossible to glue back down unless you have the patience of a saint? Ultimately I think it looks good and is worth it if you think the price is reasonable
M13KYF
you need to bend them a bit more to shape before sticking them on. It prevents them from liftin goff in the future. Be careful though as they can kink easily in the narrow sections
rawbhp
just fitted mine and they look . Spent quite a long time shaping them so they fitted the dash exactly and then heated the car up in the sun for a bit. They stuck down perfectly and should hopefully stay that way. sunset350z
Nice one, best mod for the dash i reckon, breaks up the expanse of blackness
