sunset350z
I had an email off my bro late last night, saying that Amazon were doing preorders for the long awaited Gran Tourismo 5 at a price of £17.59 . Here's the link; http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/453494/s ... 94&page=26 Unfortunately it expired early this morning, but not before i got my order in
Chris`I
Bet they cancel it and raise the price! Bargin if you do get it at that price though!
sunset350z
Well as you can see from the posts on hotdeals, there is a lot of speculation. I've had confirmation from Amazon, so i don't think they can go back on their deal. Whatever happens i'd happily pay £40 for it anyway, it looks like a stunning game. M13KYF
Bet they cancel it and raise the price! Bargin if you do get it at that price though! +1. They'll say they ran out of stock at that price and order cancelled. It's happened to me in the past. Kicked off with them saying they were breaking the consumer protection act. Ended up getting £25 vouchers.
sunset350z
Oh well Mike, you was right. Too good to be true. They sent me an email yesterday saying they had cancelled the order. I sent an email back expressing my displeasure and this is what i got back> Dear Mr Whitehead Thank you for contacting Amazon.co.uk. We regret that the pricing error occurred and we are sorry that you are disappointed with our decision to cancel your order for Gran Tourismo 5. In our Pricing and Availability Policy ( see http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/help/custome ... Id=1040614), we state that where an item's correct price is higher than our stated price, we will cancel the order and notify you of that cancellation. The Conditions of Use and Sale displayed on our website clearly state that there is no contract between Amazon.co.uk and the customer for an item until Amazon.co.uk accepts the customer order by e-mail, confirming that it has dispatched the item. The order confirmation e-mail is simply an acknowledgement of our receipt of your order and no contract is formed until we send an e-mail confirming that we've dispatched the item. Until that time, Amazon.co.uk is within its rights not to accept your order and may indicate its non-acceptance by cancelling your order. For further information on our Conditions of Use and Sale, please see our online Help Desk at the following link: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/help/custome ... Id=1040616 Despite our best efforts, due to the extensive nature of our catalogue, pricing errors can occasionally occur. We endeavour to provide our customers with the best possible customer experience and we realise that on this occasion, as a result of a pricing error, we have not met that standard. We hope this e-mail answers your concerns and that you will give us an opportunity to serve you again. Thank you for your patience and understanding in this matter. Please let us know if this e-mail answered your question:

Ekona
Me too, and after the disaster that was GT5P I'm glad that the PS3 is a very good BD player, as that's all it gets used for now. Still, at least it gets more use than my Wii!
