ZedJohn
Hi all, I'm a week-long Zed owner and I've been reading about the pop chargers and K&N filters and I've decided I want the noise rather than the purity so a pop charger it is! My questions are: Can anyone recommend a decent supplier/fitter in the Birmingham area? What sort of price is fair? Many Thanks John
3FIDDYZ
Speak to Envy, they charge about £130 I think and fitting is very very easy!
Ian
Speak to Envy, they charge about £130 I think and fitting is very very easy! What he said ^^ It took me about 30mins to fit & about 10mins to remove
Chris`I
Our other traders also sell these (CS for example). Post up in the wanted section, see who does it cheapest and get it off them, and make sure they have it in stock first
martinmac
There is also a guide to fitting on here.

What he said ^^ It took me about 30mins to fit & about 10mins to remove I take it you didn't like it? This is possibly the one item I have been considering, engine bay wise, to fit so would like to hear peoples thoughts on whether it sounds good or not? At the last Glasgow meet I meant to ask if anyone had one of these fitted to hear what the difference was...
3FIDDYZ
I had the k+n typhoon but I have now swapped over the CAI to a pop as they do work better on a short ram with the velocity stack.. Ian got rid cause hes a baller and it wasnt a WDM part!!
IanS16
CS is only a 40 minute drive away from Birmingham and he'll sort you out with most induction kits and get them fitted for you. Just don't take your credit card as he sells loads of tempting items
T8 JPE
Dont think CS does the popcharger. Got mine from Chilli and love the sound. Piece of P1ss to fit takes about 30-40mins. Where are you in the midlands?

ZedJohn
Thanks for all the hints guys, I'm near the city centre but I'm happy to travel to buy one, I've got the best car to get there in of course! I've made so many pointless journies in the last two weeks since I took ownership of my Zed!
3FIDDYZ
Think thats the point mate on the Pop, there imported from the states so not many people stock, Envy have them on the shelf in Cobham (Surrey) and am sure Tony would be happy to help you fit it! Or get one delivered and am sure some nice person would help you fit it at a meet or if you went round to see them...

If he cant source them then Envy have them and its dead easy to do yourself.
dcash5
Chris - Arent mods supposed to be Impartial, this is taking away trade from the other paid up traders that have this item in stock, i.e envy and Z1

Second post was in relation to CS being quite close to Birmingham as IanS16 pointed out. Think thats right in line with what the OP wanted.
