phoenix
Do you think this is beyond a simple scratch repair?
Beavis
Fixed the link so it shows Looks a simple repair to me. Might be worth trying someone like chipsaway for that instead of going to a bodyshop.
Ebized
http://i171.photobucket.com/albums/u296/riveralpina/P7210422.jpg Do you think this is beyond a simple scratch repair? Sorry to see the mishap - I would suggest a respray for the whole bumper - at least that will get the inevitable stonechips sorted at the same time
srobrien
Woops, hmm might get away with chips away or the like, looks quite deep at the edge though. R
lamby
Oh dear it happens to the best of us i would go for the body shop mate it will get rid of all the stone chips too
Chris`I
See what chipsaway and a bodyshop would do. If the price isnt much more for the bodyshop to respray the whole thing, it might be easier and will get rid of any stone chips

Mic
happened to my old car, body shop got it out for next to nothing. I think they just compounded it. But obviously too hard to tell if thats all it needs from the pics.
Leeroy
After getting quotes from Chipsaway and Shine! recently, I reckon the cost will be about the same as a total bumper respray - at least it was for me. My paint man charges about £100 a panel though, and he's good. The 'Smart repair' quotes were about £200 for a similar amount of scratching as yours. Shine! have a 'target' calculator which shows the cost of various sized repairs. These people are normally franchised so you might get a fella who gives you a competitive quote. Shine! quote over the 'phone whereas Chipsaway send a man out. Paying to get paintwork fixed really sh*ts me, there are much more interesting things to spend your hard earned on
