pathfinder123
Just returned from a nice (quick) drive, it only having been spoiled by a couple of numpties who pulled out before looking. I expressed my displeasure with a quick blast on the horn. Unfortunately it really didn't have the desired affect, as it the horn would have been better in an orchestra rather than a car. Also it's rather quiet. They just carried on their sweet way... Has anyone fitted their Z with a more meaningful horn ? I don't mean the Dixie or Colonel Bogie type of contraption. S. M13KYF
I've got the Z sport horns on mine. Straight replacement. Probably no louder but a higher pitch. Sound more like air horns. http://www.courtesyparts.com/jdm-sport- ... cPath=714&

Fien
Noticed this problem with mine. Someone cut in front of me, shouted various 4 letter words and then slammed on the horn. Considering the beast of a car it is i was expecting to hear a massive grunt (the Brian Blessed voice of horns say) instead i got i limp high pitched Joe Pessquali sound! Was no longer annoyed with the person who cut me up cos i was just laughing at the horn If i'm ever in traffic now i just rev the engine, much nicer sound than the horn

pathfinder123
My wife, who thinks that the whole thing is a hoot (pun), went to Halfrauds and brought me a gas powered one. She wanted me to pose for a photo leaning out of the Z's drivers window, horn in hand. I said NFW. It's our wedding anniversary, and now we're not speaking.... S.
