SunGodRA
Its now official - I have it :gulp Didnt sleep at all last night after hot and cold flushes etc - this morning I had a major headache, sore throut and I ache everywhere - a fellow member suggested I call NHS Direct (complete waste of time, in a queue for over 1/2 hour - so I gave up) so i called GP who said I have all the symptens and is going to prescribe me anti-viral medication; but there is none available till the beginning of August - this sucks! I was told not leave my house for the next 7 days (which also sucks, as I am in sales and rely on commission!) Anyone else got this? what can I expect? Your other half must have immunities therefore cant contract it, but can still pass it on - have spent all morning on google - this is quite common

I'm convinced I’ve already had swine flu tbh, although I am a self confessed hypochondriac I had what felt like hella bad flu last week, only lasted a few days tho'

LOL To be honest, the average GP will play it safe and say you have it and tell u to stay indoors - and on average swine flu only lasts 4-5 days anyway

Lexx
My G/f has been in hospital over the weekend with it. They thought it was Meningitus at first, but then decided it was Swine Flu after they'd gave her a Lumbar Puncture. They discharged her and she was back in yesterday! Ghod I hate the NHS! Lexx
Hope she's better soon Lexx and that the food parcel's keep coming! Cheers Nic, She was rushed back in yesterday, and ended up spending the night in. Was discharged this morning looking and feeling loads better after being given an IV drip of Saline through the night. Hopefully she's home for good now. bronzee
Nixy thinks I have just got Man Flu!! LOLTo be honest, the average GP will play it safe and say you have it and tell u to stay indoors - and on average swine flu only lasts 4-5 days anyway Lol, so that means a brain tumour too. That's how Man Flu it works isn't it?! So how's the pink tail going? It's just another media beat up. How many millions of people get the flu every year, some are more velalint than others that's all, and new strains. Now seriously get better soon. Being a sales type I understand how your pocket can suffer.
