Reekie
Hi Guys, I'm new to the site so go easy on me if if this is in the wrong place!! I've just purchased an imported automatic Zed, 2004 model. Unfortunately it's restricted to 112 mph (shows as 120mph on the speedo). I've been trawling through posts on this forum for the last 2 hours and can't find an answer on how to get rid of it!! I know that I need a HKS SLD (Speed Limit Defencer), but what type is it?? No body seems to have posted a definitive answer! Some people are saying type 2, others type 3!? Has anyone got one fitted to their auto? Any advice would be great!! Thanks.
nixy
don't know which one you need or if there is even one available for an auto but the guys that sell them would be able to tell you. Here's an example, just ask them they should know. http://www.jdmperformance.co.uk/item_de ... rodID=1817
Anubis
You can get them for auto's as well, so don't worry. Ask one of the traders here for one.
Reekie
In case anyone else was wondering, I have just been told that for the auto 350Z you need the HKS SLD - Type 3 N2, and it retails at about £210 + VAT. Cheers

Reekie
Oh right, bugger. I'm not sure again now then!! I spoke to a specialist this morning and they said it was the Type 3 - N2. Like you say, I'd be surprised if it was the same one for AT and MT. Think I better do some more digging!! Cheers
