SimmySouth
Morning all. Just got hold of four new EBC Red pads, and wondered if anyone knows of a good garage that could fit them in the Lincoln or Norwich area? Cheers, Si
Budge
Hi mate, LincolnBaggie recently used Crystals Lincoln and had good things to say about them. They are a franchised Nissan dealer but are very reasonable on prices and seem knowledgeable and friendly and ? prepare to be shocked ! Helpful. I have used their other outlets in Boston and Grantham and I too can recommend Crystals. Give them a call to see what prices they will quote. Maybe pm LincolnBaggie to see how helpful and reasonable they are. Or failing that, change the pads yourself. Apparently the Zed is one of the easiest cars to change the pads on and isn't that difficult for anybody with limited knowledge.
SimmySouth
Cheers buddy, Just phoned them and they said that it would be 180 odd quid for the four encluding cleaning the calipiers. Not sure if its a good price or not, 65 pound an hour labour?? Si
MITZ@CougarStore
That’s expensive, garages locally here in Leicester charge about £40.00 to fit front and rear pads…
SimmySouth
There is a garage near me that has said 80 pounds, and they have done work on my car already, but I was slightly annoyed as they said the pads would be in for the day I got my service done, thus not encuring any more labour charges, but they didnt turn up, meaning I would have to take it in another time, meaning more labour costs I shall search around, Leicester might be a bi far to travel though I think

Supplying my own.
H5
If you can use a jack, a wheel brace, pliers and a screwdriver, you can do them yourself in about 90 minutes or less....
Lincolnbaggie
I could give you a hand and we could do them ourselves - I've changed mine numerous times and it's not that hard. Let me know. I'm north of Lincoln (near Caenby Corner) and we could do them at mine one afternoon.
SimmySouth
That sounds like it could be a plan, I guess that with help I would like to do them myself. Ive just checked on google maps and im about 19 miles from you, so I may well take you up on that offer, however, working out when is slightly more difficult. Any particular day of the week, and also week? First week of August any good?? Si

Any particular day of the week, and also week? First week of August any good?? Si I'm pretty flexible on days (I work from home anyway) apart from Saturdays (footie season starts in two weeks) so can't make August 1st or 8th or 15th etc, but apart from that I'm around. Let me know what suits you?
Lincolnbaggie
I take it my offer of help wasn't needed after all....
