My guess would be under the paint. Mine is doing this now. As per quite a lot of the Nissan paint, its not the best! Carbon bonnet for me soon when I cant stand it any more! There was no sign of it when I bought the car 2yrs ago, its been caused by stone chips in the last 2yrs

Give it a while and a bet a Mod here and there slips on!!

I have just asked Ian to get the next meet sorted out but not sure whether it will be a rolling road one this time.

Glad you have got one mate, and hope you're happy with it. Get some pictures up soon.

Nice mate, looks B) . Seems most of that standard mods have already been done for you as well so you already have a head start (lucky you!!). Maybe just an alloy wheel change as I have been told those stock alloys wheel a ton and having changed one the other day I can say its true!! I want to change mine for some lighter ones as well when I have the money!! :teeth:

Got a Plenum spacer waiting to be delivered (bought a spare plenum to do something with polish/powdercoat), fitting K2 once spacer is fitted and then heading up to Leeds for an Ecu re-flash. You know nothing much!!!!:lol:

Just hiding all the credit card and bank statements, just using the recession as my excuse to her indoors!!!:lol:

the zed ive put a deposit on is as quick as my 318bhp evo4 was.

i do eat my words, about the evos being quicker

Did you have a head to head with it? I cant see it in the ebay link, is it standard? When Bens Evo was standard, there was nothing in it between us really. Now hes been remapped, theres no chance though, even if I get mine remapped!

no didnt do a head to head, but the road i tested the zed on i know like the back of my hand, so i know what the evo would do down there, and being my first time in a zed down there, there is not much in it. maybe i should of said 'as capable'

a seat of the pants test

Cool. Quite supprising you found the sensation to be as fast. To me (and Ben) my Zed feels far slower, but put them both together on the road and it was pretty close before his remap. Also at the airfield day we did, he wasnt much quicker for having a bit more power.
