D12BHP
Can anyone recommend a Insurance Company that will insure a modified Zed with over 400bhp and agree more than £20,000... Older than I look at 33...
M13KYF
have you tried Chris Knott. They do all mods. quote our forum reference number viewtopic.php?f=63&t=15584
CK@Chris Knott Insurance
We actually wouldn't do Agreed Value on modified vehicles. Sorry.
Ekona
I believe that Adrian Flux do agreed values, but could be wrong. Else try CCI or Richard Eggar, both usually good at this kind of thing.

If they are willing to cover like for like why do you need more cover? - surely that means they will replace your car with one with the same parts thus if you had an accident the cost of replacing the car would ne the normal car cost + all the extra mod costs? (As I am guessing autotrader is not going to have a car of similar spec to value it against)

D12BHP
Not if you write-off the car...only the vaule of the car..... See Signature for Mods - also currently have a full rebuild to Cosworth Internals...
Rob_Quads
Not if you write-off the car...only the vaule of the car..... See Signature for Mods - also currently have a full rebuild to Cosworth Internals... Surely the value of the car would be the cost of the car + getting all the mods done as they are all such custom mods, otherwise whats the point of getting the mods insured? (as opposed to just notifying about them) I also wonder how much more the mods are over the cost from Nissan i.e. are Cosworth Internals actually more than Nissan parts are full after market part price as I know things like alloys they are priced way way above market price. M350ZB
I am with Sky insurance and all my mods are covered like for like, meaning in the event of a disaster, i would get paid out for the Zed and then the modz as well, market vaule, at the time of taking out the policy. Like for like, means like for like, thats why they are specialist insurance companies
