jim
Hi all. I'm looing for a new head unit and I notice that a number of them now come with Aux inputs on the front so that you can plug in iPods etc. I need one that also has an input at the back - can I assume that most units will have such an input? Jord
Most will have RCA inputs in the back - all you need then is a lead to convert RCA > 3.5mm phono.
PAK999
The Kenwood DNX range have direct iPod input (requires additional iPod connecting cable) and USB input for other MP3 players. I fitted the DNX7200 18 months ago and use my iPod all the time, it has a touch screen iPod style interface so you can hide the iPod away out of sight. Have a look: http://www.kenwood.eu/products/car/navigation/navigation/
H5
Alpine all the way, the interface to iPod is easily the best out there and the software used is their own rather than Apple's so it actually sounds reasonable. All their units actually control the iPod so you can tuck the iPod in the arm rest or similar.
