nicon2k
Both of the mounts that go into the strut brace and enable you to screw the tonneau cover in have broken off. I have spoken to Nissan that they want £100 for a whole new kit. Is there a way of buying the mounts without the kit or does anyone on here sell them? rich5259
Save yourself some money and get one of these http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=38&t=23634 lots of us have this instead of the OEM one and it doesn't need fittings
narcotix
I have the same problem only that one of the upper mounts was missing when i purchased the vehicle ... Nissan won't do the mounts separately ... and suggested that I goto B&Q and try and make one out of a random metal bracket ... I've since taken the mount I did have to a metal worker I know and he says it's a 5 minute job to make one ... 3 weeks on I'm still waiting ... nicon2k
Anyone one else? Any traders or people with bits on cars lying round? Just spoke to Nissan again who confirmed that there is no way to buy the mounting kit on its own. They did say tha they would let me have a new tonneau cover at cost price (£70!!!!!!!!) Not a happy bunny.
