4RE Leather
Abbey Sheets I think I may have deleted the last Abbey run which was 464.0bhp Anyway today I went to Horsham Developments and thanks Jezz. There has been no modifications added since the Abbey run!!! A big thankyou to Jezz for finally getting my car sorted out. What a pig it was to drive and now its a WOW machine. It has never run smooth since I had the supercharger fitted. The revs were up and down all over the place and were adjusted a few times. And it was detonating which was quite noticable to the trained ear. And to be honest I was just sick and tired of walking on eggshells when ever I wanted stuff to be done. Thats why I took it to Horsham. So Jezz wrote a new map and sorted it all out. He took some of the boost from the bottom end and put it on the top, I thing he may have reduced the power by about 10-15 bhp for safety sake. The car runs like an absolute dream and is a joy to drive. I will always use Jezz from now on and can recommend him to anyone. £350plus vat for the map and saved my engine. These are the 2 dyno plots I got from him and I have not got a clue but who cares. I finally have the car I always dreamed of and although I could kick myself for spending over £50k on the build I forget all about it when I go for a drive. Thanks Jezz and i know a few of the guys were waiting on this before coming to see you. Edited January 17, 2014 by 4RE Leather

Hdtimmo
Hi everybody!! I am need of a bit of info! I have just bought an 05 350z and looking under the bonnet I have seen a small rectangular sticker which is coloured blue with yellow writing saying "g force dyno tested". I am wondering if the car has been tuned or just on the dyno.can somebody help me out with the company in the uk who uses these stickers so maybe I can track down any tuning history ;-) cheers tim

The Chubby Ninja
that is impressive. I wonder if their dyno is reading slightly higher than abbeys. is it a rolling road or a dynapack?

That's my thinking, every dyno is different so no way of comparison unless its the same model of dyno and same atmospheric conditions etc.

LukePitt
Just had a remap and plenum spacer at Horsham developments. It was on my 2005 gt and I made 301bhp. Other mods are ams pulleys, lightweight fly and excedy clutch, jwt pop charger, decats and custom rear exhaust. Car feels a little more nippy, not anything yo shout about tho!

LukePitt
He seems like a good guy. Only real issues is that he never dyno'd it before he added the plenum spacer and the remap so I don't know my real gains! After the plenum and before the remap I had 295 bhp so only made 6bhp with the remap. Would he of removed the top speed limiter? Not much info given on what actually was done. £650 for an hour and a half! I'm in the wrong trade!
Jez @ H-Dev
Sorry for not dynoing the car before the spacer fitting. I should have explained what we did on the remap of your car: Tuned the ignition timing for best performance Tuned the fuelling for best performance Tuned the cam timing Move the speed limiter out of the way Enhance the throttle response in the lower gears Switch off the check engine light caused by your de-cat pipes It doesn't take long as we've done loads of cars with that spec so we have a good starting point on file, from there we fine tune it to your specific car. LukePitt
I'm glad it didn't take long to be honest. Was freezing! Was only joking on the £'s I understand the costs of these things aren't cheap. Have you removed the top speed limiter?

wmr1980
Didn't realise there was this thread! Not been to either Jez or Abbey but have got the velocity stack, HKS filter and plenum fitted. And this is where I am at the moment: I'd like to sort out the little bit of pinking I get under load - but I'm sure a remap will sort it. I'll be going for a remap in due course, but first, exhaust and HFCs! Edited November 19, 2013 by wmr1980
