Marios
My reminder has been reminding me for a while now its time for a service, and im on my p3 service this time after 30k miles. Called my local Nissan and they have quoted me £357 just for the service, which didn't really impress me to be honest. Also my brakes are making a squealing sound so im guessin the the brake pads are in need of a change. Money a bit short after a rather expensive holiday so im thinking of getting of not using Nissan for this service, do any of you guys use a local garage to do the services or stick to Nissan? Cheers
Chris`I
A large number of members use inderpendants and have no problems with them what so ever. They are usually quite a bit cheaper than Nissan, but saying that, the Nissan near my work (Dan Perkins Slough) give me a decent discount, so compete quite well with inderpendants. Where abouts are you based? I'm sure some local members will have some oppinions for you
Marios
Im based in Stourbridge in the West Midlands so if anyone can recommend anyone around that area and Birmingham that would be great!
sunset350z
Where you from? The dealers in the south Wales area charge around the £280 mark. I took my car to Nis-Tec (a nissan specialist) for a P1 last week, and was charged just over £50! that was supplying my own oil. They said the P3 would cost £200 and a P2 would be £130, so as you can see it pays to check out the independents.
