Woody
Thought I'd post up my past car history. Not many but here we go. Started off with a 1.2 Corsa C SXi, Which I modified heavily. Then I moved on and got a 1993 1.6 Luxury Edition Escort Just for a runaround while I found my mini. My mini then. 1995 Mini Sidewalk 1.3Mpi Sportpack bodykit and Alloys. Started off like this. Now it looks like this... Then I got my Seat Ibiza Fr TDi Then I arrived the only real car I've owned..

fakeindian
okay i've only just found this so i thought i'd join in. 1st car was my MkII golf GTI 8V which i spent all my hard earned money on at the age of 19! have to say it is still one of the most fun cars i've ever driven i had to sell her as i started getting real problems with her and was fixing something weekly then i brought a 1.6l escort which was pants! then i had a little saxo VTR 1.6. then i hit some ice one Christmas and killed her then with the insurance money i got another one...newer shape used to love the way she'd get to 120 on the clock and the dial would just bounce but kept going then i needed money to start saving for a house and wedding so had to sell what i could. as a run around i picked up an audi 80 for £200 was really comfortable though and it had the same engine as my MkII golf GTI but way slower then after getting the house i needed something that i could move stuff with and make loads of trips to the dump and for all my trips to B&Q i couldn't do a van so i got a volvo V40 2.0T..... freaking hell she was quick!! after most of the house was done i started to miss my old skool golf and messing around with mods and i'd always loved MR2's so i brought my black beauty. loved her so much and really great fun to drive. then i had enough of old skool and wanted something with a bit more class and up to date so i went out and found my baby and i love her to bits

Andy
Had a few motors in my time but here are a few of my favourites.... Ford Cougar V6 Spent a fortune on this car, rims, ice, bodystyling etc. Loved it to bits and was such a unique car. Sold it 6 months after I got my Z. Mk1 Golf Bought it as an unfinished project of a bodywork shop who had done a bareshell respray on it in Mercedes Green. Stripped and rebuilt the engine and gearbox and was almost finished when it got broken into and trashed while I was away for a few days. Lost heart in it and flogged it on ebay, my biggest regret to this day. Scumball Mercedes Benz 420SE 4.2 V8 Awesome car that we used for the Scumball. 7 Mercs went and ours was the only one that made it back in one piece and running perfectly. Bought for £450 and sold on ebay for £451. Tidy Mrs Andys Mini Cooper S Mondeo ST24 Bought this as a Cat C write off and rebuilt it. Got it VIC tested and modded it a little and this is now my runabout Nissan 350Z

Lincolnbaggie
My list in rough order (because I can't remember at my age) Renault 18 GTS (first car) Mini metro 1.0 (basically three road signs welded together by the time it died) Opel Manta (in a fetching cat crap colour) Rover 2600 SD1 (basically four road signs welded together by the time it died) [plus various other poo boxes over the years] Jaguar XJS V12 (only for four months - it averaged 9.7 mpg!!!!) Rover 827 (a bit like being the mayor of somewhere @*!#) Peugeot 406 V6 coupe (much better car than I expected) Vauxhall Corsa 1.7 diesel (first turbo car owned - feel the power at 54 bhp, but I was desperate at the time) Overlapping with many of the above, my favourite: Rover SD1 Vitesse (3.9 litre V8 tuned beast - absolutely awesome car and the best fun I've ever had out of bed) Current cars: Nissan X-Trail 2.2 DCi Sport (second turbo car ever and much better than the first) Blade 350z (best looking car ever - but I do miss the V8 noise and speed from the Vitesse!)
