Sarnie
Having just sold my Zed that had the nissan in built Sat Nav, I'm buying a Zed without the Sat Nav. The Sat Nav is crucial to my job and ranks way above anything else I need to purchase for it. I really want an in built system (Cos I'm a snob ). Has anybody on here installed a system that sits inside the cubby like the nissan one. I just really don't fancy a Tom Tom in the cubby with wires everywhere, the unit sliding about, worrying about remembering to charge it and worrying about thieving c _ _ t s smashing my window! Can an aftermarket system be installed similar to the nissan one? If so whats the best one etc etc Cheers
350Znismo
Ive seen them at the SVA center in Bristol, fitted for £1000 which is a copy of the Zed system but with a remote to control it, give them a call and ask them ! stevie_350z
Stop being such a tart and buy the top of the range TomTom for 325 - it fits nicely in the cubby, doesnt slide, and you only need the wires in when it's chargin. Close the cubby door and no-one can see the unit.

I just want to know: A) is it possible? b ) What systems are available? C) Cost? D) Will I need to modify the cubby interior to allow for the sat nav? E) Has anyone on here done anything similiar? Leadfoot
Firstly, Hi and thanks to everyone who has provided all the invaluable information about the great 350z. I have replaced my std SAT NAV with an alpine unit, as I required it for european travel. It is so much better than the std Nissan Birdview. I linked it with an Alpine 6.5" Screen that slotted in to replace the birdview screen. Check out these links for Spec. http://www.alpine-europe.com/content/en ... SYSTEM.htm http://www.alpine-europe.com/content/en ... ONITOR.htm I also changed my head unit. http://www.alpine-europe.com/content/en ... 4-copy.htm
