tannerian
Hi All Only recently the Zed has started making a creaking noise from both sides of the rear suspension - has anyone else had this experience? Its only noticable when driving very slow - i.e backing off a drive, or manouvering onto a driveway etc. It will creak if you push the back end down by hand too. There appears to be nothing sinister going on back there and is performing well - could it be bushes drying out? If it helps, the car is only used approx once a week, and has only started doing this since the dryer / warmer weather Any suggestions? Thanks in advance Ian

Rosssco
My car does the same. I think it could be the rear anti-roll bar links. I was told one needed replaced when my car was serviced recently. I've got them (decided to buy a pair), but haven't had a chance to fit, so can't confirm that this is the cause of the noise... Ross
Renegade
Odd mines started too.If I drive forward slowly and brake. The front dips a little then the back settles with a clunk, as though there is a golf ball in the cubby
marzman
This has been discussed several times. Rosssco you are right - its the anti rollbar end links. They can be re-greased rather than replaced first as that usually cures the issue.

Husky
not expensive for new ones from nissan tbh, or i think someone sells uprated adjustable ones on here, maybe alex
Pimm
Nissan ones are about £ 27 each. Spray grease will work only as a short term fix though.
M350ZB
I used hard acting grease and have never had the problem since, give it all a good smoother then leave on for a few weeks, then tidy up if needs be, worked perfectly for me !!!!!
