Renegade
Get Firefox and have done with IE. Firefox is more secure and so fast
Martin W
My issue with non-MS browsers is that so many Apps which require online registration asssume you use IE (and worse don't expect later versions) and fail on that basis
neo
i did upgrade to IE8 to find it a bloated mess, have now switched to firefox, this site and many other loads faster with firefox (yes yes i should have switched years ago ) not tried this myself but there's addon for firefox that puts IE as a tab within firefox - https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1419 might help you out
H5
Firefox here too for all the reasons mentioned. IE8 is a PITA for this site too!

Beavis
IE8 is a PITA for this site too! Works totally fine for me
Chris`I
I use IE8 and FF quite interchangably (IE at home, FF at work) and cant say I really notice much difference. Sure with some tweaking FF is faster, but not by a lot. The problem with IE is sometimes it decides to display the page differently to how its meant to be!
