AlexZ
First things first, Hello to everyone and thank you in advance for any information you can pass on. Right down to business, I own a Toyota Celica (Gen 7) and towards the end off the year I will be looking to change for the 350Z. I have a friend with one at the moment (Hamster) and after looking round his I was very impressed. He took me for a short drive and again what an impressive machine. The information I need if possible from you guys is the common problem if any others than the ones I'll list The ones am aware off or been told about are, Rear CV Joint's, Inside wear on rear tyres, blowing exhausts and little other items.. I will be looking at a Coupe 54/55 plate with under 40k on the clock if possible. Would I be right in saying theres only two models, the standard spec and the GT? Any help and pointers would be good people... Thanks

Maccaman
Hi Alex & :welcome:to the forum. The rear joints, skipping Bose stereo & the ECU dialling out engine mods are probably the main 3. Inside wear on the rear tyres & blowing exhaust are not common problems as far as I'm aware, more of particular cars faults.

AlexZ
I know Hessle quite well.............. Cool, I've been reading through some of Hamsters old posts and I think he's tried to sort a local meet up one evening at a pub. If we get somthing sorted i wouldnt mind having a look at all your cars. I know I have a Celica at the moment but I'm willing lol.... One other question while im typing (although I'm going to search anyway) whats the easiest way to tell the import from the UK spec's. I guess the import has a strange rear fog light or no fog light like all the other Jap imports??? I've read about the Lady Leather been in the imports also? Any other difference that are simple to spot?
