ec2a350z Posted June 3, 2009 Share Posted June 3, 2009 I only drive my Z to work and back in London 5 miles a day, no track days. Which brake fluid shall I use? Is there a difference between a racing brake fluid and a good dot 4, A guy at my work with a Carrera S said "buy a good dot 4 but avoid Racing Brake fluid as it would take longer to heat up and you only do short journeys" Is this correct? jim Posted June 3, 2009 Share Posted June 3, 2009 I'm no expert, but I've picked up a lot of sound advice on here, and from what I recall, it would be safer to stick to the recommended Nissan fluids unless you intend to track the car.
