Lion Heart
Hi guys I have an imported 2003 Nissan Fairlady Z and the passenger side electric window is not working. I took it into the garage and they identified it as dodgy wiring within the motor unit itself, which is a sealed unit and therefore cannot be fixed. Apparantly you can get it to work intermittently by wobbling the wires that come out of the unit. So, needs a new window motor. Fair enough. They called the nearest Nissan dealer and they are finding a price. Apparently because it's an import it takes longer than if it were uk. Hmmm. Anyway, I'm expecting a montrous price on it. Anyone here have any idea on price. Also, do I have to get the genuine part or has anyone here managed to get one from an OEM supplier like Europarts etc??? many thanks!
