sl114
I thought i would ask if anyone on here feels that lightweight lug nuts are worth the money?
Trev-the-Rev
I guess it depends on what you are trying to achieve. If you are going for an all-out weight reduction exercise say to put the car on track then they may be worth it. If not, then can't really see the point myself. sl114
Its really for looks to be honest, i dont want to save on weight as thats not what i am doing
H5
Don't get lightweight ones then, get coloured. Personally, I don't want people looking at the bolts, I want the wheels to be the feature. So I'd keep the nuts plain and clean and go for the best wheels.
Trev-the-Rev
If you are going just for looks then check these people out: http://www.ears.co.uk/motorsport/acatal ... es_85.html
quicksilver
you'd be amazed at how light they are though, its worrying that there the only thing holding your wheel on I'm after a set to lift the look of my standard wheels - as far as price they only work out at £3 a nut and for what they are thats pretty good. Pimm
I never thought of going for light weight or coloured nuts until i changed my wheels and i am very pleased that the nuts in blue go very well with the Azure colour. Its all about the whole package imo
Adriank
Problem with cheaper coloured ones are they dont have a locker... If you want to keep your wheels on the car, you need to spend some money and get 5Zigen/Rays/Work or other good nuts, with a locker included. Look at £100+ the set.
