Rob_Quads
Been looking at the various filters/induction kits and I am liking the look of the Pop Charger. One part I am not 100% convinced by is the 'heat shield'. Obviously this is going to stop some heat from the engine bay but to me there is more than could be done. Has anyone attempted to extend the standard shield so that it surrounds the filter on 3 sides i.e. bottom, drivers as normal but also behind it? At the moment if you sitting in traffic there is nothing to stop it sucking in heat from behind i.e. stale warm air. Don't like simple bolt on mods - still want to mod them a little

Pimm
When you are stuck in traffic sucking in all that warm air, how fast can you really go anyway ? Just do it mate, you will love it and forget all about any possible niggles.

quicksilver
I agree, I think the shield is more of a show item. The carbon bumper duct would be a good addition though in order to maximise the cold air when driving.
Chris`I
Will be interesting to see what it is Sarah. I have noticed more recently in the warm weather it takes a lot longer for intake temps to drop when driving and they rise like mad at a standstill. Think if I go down the ECU reflash route I will be wanting something to stop the warm air getting sucked in (stock air box perhaps )
