bronzee
Ok, you lot, own up who sent that freaky weather you had over Winter down to NZ. We've had it all here today. Water spouts of the Bay of Plenty, about 230kms south of me, a twister 60kms North, horrendous rain (went looking for the ark ), freak hailstorms, roads flooding, and the hail floating on the water, major shopping centre roofs collapsing. http://tvnz.co.nz/weather-forecast http://tvnz.co.nz/view/page/536641/2727143 http://tvnz.co.nz/view/page/536641/2726755 http://tvnz.co.nz/national-news/storm-b ... 755/photos (amazing pics here) The photos in the above link, that's hail, not snow, it doesn't snow in that area. I was sent some pics today of one of the major surf towns here, one of the main roads flooded to half way up a car with hail floating on it. Just had a very treacherous trip home in the car. Water deep on the motorway even on hills.

bronzee
About time too. You've been having much to good a Summer Lol, does this make you feel any better Trev? Winter is here. Fun little cruise through a few side roads avoiding the holiday weekend traffic after a brekkie meet. We found a pretty park in out of the way place with a cute street name Duck Creek Rd for some pics in the rain. Then we headed off for a real Gelato via the Parade for a few more pics, in the rain. Can you see the liquid sunshine?! Doesn't the water just look so warm and inviting?!

bronzee
Still looks quite pleasant though! I shan't show you guys picks there in Summer though. Trev will never talk to me again. It was a fun day despite the weather. We even had brekkie at a pub that had bits of race cars attached to the walls. Slicks, front of a car, bumpers etc. Right at home we were. Not in comparison to summer time. Roll on Spring/Summer. http://www.nzherald.co.nz/travel/news/i ... _id=103958 http://www.100percentnz.co.nz/NZ-Beaches-51 http://www.new-zealand-pictures.co.nz/a ... es-cat.htm (now that's more like it). bronzee
Immy is New Zealand not covered in snow now? Some of the South Island is, even some of the ski fields, very early. Some of the higher above sea level areas in the North Island near the ski fields are too, but I'm very north,4 & a bit hours north of so we don't see snow this far north unless, you go to Sno Planet for artificial snow. Dawned a stunning morning here, clear skies, ice on the deck and paddocks. Was only 4 degrees when we came out of the movies last night. Too cold for Kiwi's. English forrests are stunning though, well when it's Spring and all the trees and plants spring into life. Bluebells, snowdrops, lily of the valley, chestnut trees and oak trees, lots of happy memories.
