Septic
http://www.valentineone.eu/valentineone ... 3gode3Ka9w Was going through some bloke's post on my350z.com about how this radar detector saved him from getting clocked by the traffic police and I was wondering if people had something similar here in the UK and whether it was a worthwhile purchase. It does seem handy although a tad on the illegal side.
nurrish
That thing looks hideous i think there are some nicer looking ones around buddy As for the purpose if you need one its time to slow down a bit......
Septic
Ah cheers. Nah its not that I need it I'm just surprised something like this is available so readily. I would buy it just to be on the cautious side because I believe some of the road-traffic laws make no concession for human weakness. bernmc
its quite an old device, and a long time since i read up on them. Used to be top of the pops. Very good detection etc. Whether it is still the same story I don;t know.
Richie
Didn't see these 6 months ago when i was looking for a new system. I ended up going for the new road angel but I would have considered this if I had found it! Altho having said that, there are so few radar systems used that cant be tracked on GPS databases that this device is a bit pointless now. Best thing would be a laser jammer (special garage door opener) combined with a GPS based system.
