Lexx
Just went to upload some pics I have on Photobucket so I can enter Envy's comp. However, the forum now seems to have a 768 pixel max height. Which is mildy annoying since every pic on my PB has been saved in their standard 800 pixel high format (set for 15" screens) Since this is a standard size, is it possible to increase the forums to match? clarkie34
I uploaded straight from PB yesterday without resizing.

xStric9x
You have to reduce your photo size to 800x600
Lexx
You have to reduce your photo size to 800x600 Thats my point mate. My photosize IS 800x600. But the forum tells me it is limited to 768.

Something isnt behaving. The site limit is 1024x768 so you should be fine. Try PMing Chesterfield and see what he suggests.
xStric9x
Mmm maybe we'll have to pass this on to one of the other mods as i've just posted pics on the Tommy K thread and 800x600 worked fine.

marzman
I think it doesn't let you post over 800pixels high. 1024x768 is width x height. If you have a photo in portrait, i guess photobucket still thinks its 800x600 but the other way around. Then the forum doesnt let you post it. I find this very annoying like you! I think allowing 1024x800 would solve the issue...?

I'm sure we can get Chris to update the rule

Stew
I get this too..... I bet one of the pics is in portrait rather than landscape.... You have to resize the portrait one so the height is less than 768. It's a pain in the ass.....
neo
have just set the max resolution to 1280 x 1024 for the attachments. hope this helps
Stew
Does that include 'displayed' images from photobucket?
neo
Does that include 'displayed' images from photobucket? or dunno, i don't use photobucket
Stew
The limit for photobucket is still 768 high. I just tried with a portrait pic that is bigger than the one above. Normal PB size but portrait.
neo
try again, have changed another option to 1280 x 1024, fingers crossed it works
Lexx
try again, have changed another option to 1280 x 1024, fingers crossed it works Nope, still not working. And as said above, it is when I post a portrait style pic.

neo
mmm just tried it myself and like you say it's still locked to 768 high, gonna have to research it a little more
Chesterfield
test... 1204 x 768 648 x
neo
ok so what did i do wrong
Chesterfield
should be fixed now... image restrictions are 1024 x 1024 for images posted, and 1280 x 1024 for images attached. Attached images will have thumbnails created, posted ones will not, so we have to restrict the size to stop them from making the forum start scrolling width ways (anoying for those on smaller screens)
