Are there any solicitors on here that work within the general small claims field or anyone that has knowledge of persuit of claims?

Cheers

Hi Andy. I'm a solicitor but I don't work in small claims, and also I live and practice in Scotland (law can differ hugely to English law). So I may not be much help and Digsy is most likely your best bet! But the offer is there if you need it :)

What area of law? Always good to have a Scottish solicitor to refer claims on to.

I mainly do private client work - domestic conveyancing, land queries, Wills, executries... bit of company work and commercial conveyancing/leasing. Non-contentious stuff in the main, so as I said I'm afraid my knowledge of small claims is rather limited. Is that the area you're in Digsy?

Well this is true, and let's face it - what's glamorous in law anyway! We're holding up quite well, property is suffering sure but not nearly as much as other cities, and as we're quite diverse other areas are making up for it... people don't stop dying in a recession... :headhurt:

(you have confirmed for me now where the ambulance chaser comment came from! )

No, I'm a personal injury solicitor. Not very glamorous but my work doesn't dry up in a recession thankfully. :)

Digsy will be the one tying everyones shoe laces together at lunch in Bala, then when you stack it and smash your kneecap, out come the conveniently remembered business cards to claim against the poor pub owner for his negligence

Damn and here were we thinking that Boston Legal and all the other glamourous tv law flicks were it.:lol::p:p
