roastbeef78 Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 Hi there everyone, I picked up a 53 plate UK 350z GT three days ago, love it. Just got a question, the rev limiter seems to be cutting in at about 5500rpm, anyone know why? I thought it was higher than this. EDIT: Rev limit discussion opened in technical area: http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=22082 Cheers, John Quote
xStric9x Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 Welcome bud Mmm thats a new one to me, you should be hitting the limit at 6600 pre 06. I'm sure someone may have an answer for you shortly. Quote

Chesterfield Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 Hi and welcome Just a quick question, is the rev limiter actually kicking in, or are you referring to the red light on the dash coming on when you hit 5500? Actually, Can we keep this as the welcome thread and any replies on the technical issue directed toward the other thread discussing your issue here: viewtopic.php?f=10&t=22082 Ta, Quote

roastbeef78 Posted April 24, 2009 Author Posted April 24, 2009 I'm from Leeds. Upgraded from a Clio 172, the difference is awesome! The rev limiter is kicking in, i.e. the car judders and the revs get knocked back. Quote
M350ZB Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 never heard of anything like this before, only the re light kicking in Quote
