matth76
Does anyone know how much the transmission losses (%) are in a 350z? I've heard it is around 15-17%. Does anyone know more information? Thanks for any help.
Chris`I
Thats what I've heard too, and what most people tend to use as the "fudge factor" to get from WHP to crank HP. TBH it doesnt really matter what the number is, as long as you use the same dyno all the time and in similar conditions. Trying to compare numbers with others unless they were on the same dyno at the same time is pretty meaningless.
Xendric
Yup, and even on the same dyno but different shops, it can vary, depending on different ..well, variable settings on the dyno. I don't think there is fixed %, but as you said 15-20% is what most people go by.
