larsdowg
Looks like its time for some new rear rubber, just gone through the original Bridgestone RE040 245/45/18's Anyone know where I can get some decently priced new rubber and if anyone has other tyres they can recommend? I know the new RE050 Bridgestones are out but had some places suggest AVON's, Toyo Proxy T1/R1's, Vredestein Ultrac, and Michelins price at £300 each for rears!!! OW! Anyone help me out or point me onto another forum link where tyres may have been discssed, handling and prices.....? Cheers Everyone........... nixy
got mine from black circles and used forum discount. Worked out a tiny bit cheaper than camskills for falkens.
IanS16
This lot are pretty good. http://www.camskill.co.uk/ I found them the cheapest by far for Toyo Proxies. Is there any way we could invite them to be a sponsor?
Toon Chris
I've had Conti-Sport2 on the back for 30K miles. Before that I have Toyos all round. I recently changed to Falkens all round and the first thing I noticed was the road noise is substantially lower - I mean lots. The car feels much more stable in corners and inspires much more confidence. I was a little worried as they aren't a 'big' name but I can honestly say that I recommend them over Toyo and CS2 by far. larsdowg
Been running on Falken 452's now for about 500 miles thank everyone for the replies, I managed to get the Front for just over £110 and the rears for about £115 Pushed it in the wet and also in the dry (to the best of my driving ability that is ) and am pretty chuffed with them........ different feel to the BStones but when you get used to it they are a sound circle of rubber! Thanks again and happy everyone!! LarsDowg
