weewizard
Hi Guys this is my first time on the forum and as yet I do not own a 350z I was looking at buying one from Japan and with the help of an agent here in the UK get it imported and registered etc etc. I was going to use these guys http://www.tmimports.net/. Has anyone used them before? Also has anyone bought a 350z from Japan, who may wish to give some free advice to me. Any help greatly appreciated Cheers
350Znismo
Welcome, I imported mine direct from Japan and the worry is you pay out a lot of money to people that are internet based and hope your car turns up, if i was looking now i would buy one that is already in the UK, so you can see and buy. Goog luck

Goog luck Yes the import 350 I bought was already in the Uk and fully sorted, I think it saved me a lot of time and sleepless nights worrying about who had my car and money in Japan probably paid a little over the odds, but I could see exactly what I was getting Plenty for sale by the way at what looks like rock bottom prices at present

Nick_MSM
Personal experience with TM (used to import cars myself too) - They are cheap but communications with the customer are poor and I had an experience with them which was less than satisfactory (car arrived not as fully described inc. problems with stereo, antiroll bar bearing, chipped paintwork etc) End of the day you pays your money and get what you pay for so IMO I'd go with a bigger company and pay the extra dosh for that peice of mind. If your new to the import game I think it's worth looking at JDM's already in the UK as said above you get to see the vehicle before handing over a lot of money. Anymore info feel free to PM me, don't really like going into detailo r.e companys on a public forum
