Trev-the-Rev
I've just bought a set of Mintex 1144 pads for the rear and in the box are 4 rubber pads the same shape as the brake pads. Where do these go and do I still use the original anti squeal shims?
H5
Are the rubber pads there to protect the brake pad material in transit or separate for install? I can't see rubber pads helping a huge amount in brakes unless it's some new development....

They're seperate for install and are self adhesive on one side suggesting they should be stuck to the back of the pad!!!
MITZ@CougarStore
Correct, you can stick them to the back of the pad, most come with them already in situation... Make sure you also use the original shims too...
