mc
has anyone used one of the laser star 'parking sensor' jammers? The idea that you have to turn it off once you've been targetted and slowed down, so that the cops can get a reading of you doing the speed limit seems a bit dodgy to me... surely if they can't get a reading the first time they try, then they'll pull you over, find the 'parking sensor' and throw the book at you? M13KYF
read about them a couple of weeks ago. Somebody had passed some info on and a discount offer b ut it had expired so didn't post it up.
srobrien
Yup they will jam the radar detector but you will still probably be pulled over and charged with obstruction, don't think the police like them much. R
rtbiscuit
there used to be one which was part of an automatic door opening system the sensor was designed so that when you pulled up at your garage the sensor would open the door for you. it had the added advantage that it also scrambled police speed guns and made them read 0mph. was apparenly completely legal as long as you could prove you had the automtic garage door. as some people were fitting the sensor but had no garage. i remember it being on fith gear donkeys yonks ago. don't know if this system is stil out there

It works as a parking sensor.. pretty poor one though... but then again it's adjustible! I don't know what you mean by the cops testing it? By testing it, I mean have they zapped you with a laser gun when you were speeding, but they never stopped / fined you?
