andyvvc
Hi all, Looking at gettiong two Toyo Proxies T1-R's to replace my worn Goodyears on the rear (fronts already have T1-Rs on them). £370 fitted for the two rear tyres is the best i can find in Nottingham. Just wondering if i order from, say, Camskills, if i can actually fit the things into the car to get them to a local fitting centre? Or maybe i can get them delivered *to* the fitting centre?? I can get them for about £260 from Camskills. Factor in about 30 quid to fit and balance the rears, and i save 80 quid easily lol! Any thoughts on tyres inside a Zed? Or delivery to a fitter? Anyone done this...? Ta
fatalus
What dimensions are these? I have fitted quite easily 2 225/45/18 in the boot and 2 245/45/18 on the passengers seat!!!

andyvvc
Seriously? I can fit 2x rear tyres into the Zed? Surely only with the passenger seat moved all the way back? There cant be room in the boot for two tyres can there....????
fatalus
2 rear tyres can fit on the passenger seat. But if you have an empty boot it is better to put one in the boot, in front of the strut brace leaning upwards between the two seats!! A front OEM 18 tyre can fit under the strut brace btw
Marios
I ordered 2 18's from blackcircles once and then realised I couldn't fit them into the car to take it to be fitted!! Had the punctured wheel in boot and had to squeeze both tyres onto the passenger seat, had to put a blanket on the seat to stop them being scratched! They will fit but will be a nightmare to squeeze in, or once again maybe I was doing something wrong
clarkie34
Just arrange to be delivered to the garage fitting them, save you marking your interior.
