H5
Welcome to the club. The short answer is that yes there have been syncro issues that can be fixed under warranty - it's an easy check when test driving a car, change from 4th to 6th at reasonable revs, you'll soon hear it. As for the clutch, well they wear on any car, so if you're going to buy one that might need a new one soon, make sure it's reflected in the price. As you have seen they're not hugely expensive pieces. 350Z's are generally pretty reliable cars. Only a few have recently started giving a few new owners the odd problem but between us we tend to work it out. Oh, and Alex isn't a garage. He just knows a hell of a lot about how the Zed works and how it's put together.
