nurrish
Had some time to day so i began to install my rearview camera... I needed to get my bumper half way off first and remove the tail lights This is were the camera will be mounted (just hope i dont need to tow anyone) Wires being fed through the trunk firewall This is where the camera will be mounted Need to finish this off by cutting out a hole in the cover which covers this up Slightly have the edge in view but this will be covered up once my cover is on Will be able to get some good driving action from the up and coming wales drive out

srobrien
Look nice matey, great idea with the tow eye cover, i want to fit a camera but didn't want to cut into the bumper, never though about that though. R
marzman
I had a camera mounted in my number plate but it got moisture in it after 12 months. Yours should fair better there, but i would have though putting any kind of cover infront of it will seriously limit the field of view... have you tested it? Looks cool though You got any way of recording its feed on your setup?

neo
nice video like you say it's very lo-res,whats the compression set to ?? as the video you've posted is is very blocky or is that down to photo bucket ?
nurrish
a bit of both i think. Centrafuse which im using is renown for recording in low res so im just hunting around to get a better program. Native res of the camera is 680x640 so it should be better than that.
Chris`I
Chap, good work! Check this out. Currently working on updating it so I can use it with my new USB bullet cam for Wales. Was going to make it into a CF plugin, but that looks like a mission. The plan is to get it working with speed overlays etc. http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/softwar ... rding.html Jump to the last page, thats where the last updates are. I can give you a copy of my local dev version if you want, I got it working quite nicely. About to send it over to Prefect for his approval. sunset350z
Insert one of these cameras with good res, in the front bumper, and you could record some great track action, especially around the Nordschleife!!!
